"I am getting periodic pop up tabs of this Total Ad Performance like this on my chrome browser.
How the hell do I clean this?
I tried ADWcleaner, MBAM and others to no avail.
I tried resetting Chrome and clearing cache, etc but no luck
Can someone please help?"

what if the dratted total ad performance adware doesn't appear in any of the places you mentioned in your list? Would the spyhunter thing still find it?
