What Is Cryptobot?
Cryptobot is a malicious ransomware infection created by cyber criminals to pursue evil aims by encrypting your files and causing other security related problems. Usually, Cryptobot enters your system silently, and is distributed via fake e-mail attachments. Once the attachment is downloaded a script is launched and a silent infiltration takes place. Before you notice that there is something wrong with your system, it will start encrypting your files that include .JPG, .JPEG, .PDF, .DOC, .DOCX, .XLS, .ZIP, .CDR files.
