Many computer users have been interrupted by findamo:
Recently my PC acquired malware which I cannot remove using any of the usual methods. The visible symptoms are my home page being set to www.findamo.com and an extra search engine added. After that homepage can't be reset by me and I can not remove the search engine, as soon as I restart Firefox I am back to square one with the intruding home page and search engine. What is particularly worrying, when I click the "Privacy Policy" link on the findamo webpage it specifically spells out that Findamo collects every sort of personal information, including logins and passwords. There is obviously malware hidden deep in my system. Help desperately needed.
