Complaints about Windows Expert Console
Case one：Stupidly, I downloaded what I thought was a pdf file and got this sort of malware. My computer rebooted itself after downloading it, and now whenever I access my account the entire screen is white and this fake "Windows Expert Console," virus detection pop-up is the only thing that's there and nothing else works. I cannot see or access anything, my desktop and toolbar included. What can I do? How can I remove this virus?Any help is greatly appreciated!
Case two:Hi , I stupidly downloaded an innocent-looking set of soundfiles that infected me with a "Windows expert Console" virus. This seems very similar to the "Windows Premium Console" virus I have seen described on various Google searches. It has taken control of the desktop and will not allow me to access any commands except to shut down - no task manager, menu icons, etc.The virus also continues to take control even when I boot in safe mode, or safe mode with networking.
