Remove ConnectDLC toolbar

Case one :Suddenly I'm getting ConnectDLC toolbar as the default toolbar and can't get rid of it and also CONNECT is the the default web page and won't go away. How do I get rid of these?

Case two: I went to add/remove software and removed ConnectDLC toolbar, but now when I highlight something and right click, one of the options is "search with Connect DLC cusumized web search." How do I get rid of this thing completely? I'm usually super careful and this once I thought this site should be ok to d/l from and it's on my mom's computer.
