Complaints about level quality watcher
Case one: I hope someone can help me.I am running Windows XP and somewhere along the line I have been infected with a malware (I think) called "Level Quality Watcher". I cannot remove it when I go into "Control Panel" as there is no 'Remove' button. I have run Nortons Power Eraser and cleaned my registry with Nortons Utilities to no avail. In addition I have also run Malwarebytes Pro with no luck.Additionally I have done a search of Files and Folders on my 'C' drive and nothing is shown in the results. It does not appear to do anything (that I am aware of). It is just annoying that I cannot remove it from my systemCase two: Yesterday, I attempted to install a program from download.cnet. Despite scanning it, as I always do, I was immediately infected with something called Level Quality Watcher, which is one of the sinister types of malware that cannot be removed with any of the usual programs. At least, not any of the programs I've been using. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I feel foolish getting an infection, my first in years. I've been very careful, but this one got me. Can someone talk me though getting rid of this infection manually? Or, is there a program or programs which can hopefully take care of it?
