Complaints about HTML/Malicious.Flash.Gen:
Case one: Hello, when I visit a website that has a video, my Avira antivirus gives me the following notification:Virus or unwanted program 'HTML/Malicious.Flash.Gen [virus]' detected in file 'C:\Windows\temp\0000000E-E6DED9FD. Action performed: Deny access. My computer usually freezes up and is very slow for several seconds or until I am out of the page. The file in C drive it gives is different each time it gives the virus notification. I have run the following scans: Avira, superantispyware, malwarbytes, lavasoft adaware, combofix, and I have uninstalled all java and flashplayer programs and then reinstalled. But nothing helps. Can anyone give me a hand?
Case two: I have a computer virus in the C:/Windows/Temp folder: HTML/Malicious.Flash. My antivirus cleans it but it comes back. The antivirus found a source in C:\RECYCLER but I can't find a folder with that name. The virus also seems to keep the antivirus program from updating. Any help is much appreciated.
Case three: Hi everyone,Recently whenever I do a full scan on my computer with Avira Free Antivirus, it always picks up a virus named "HTML/Malicious.Flash.Gen" from the folder C:\Windows\Temp. Despite I've sent it to quarantine each time, the next scan will still pick up the same virus from the same folder, except the name is different.Does anyone have any good suggestion on how to remove this virus thoroughly?
