Quite a lot of computer users have been interrupted by pixel.mathtag.com:
Case One: I've occasionally had reddit and other sites redirect me to a URL like this example from a few minutes ago:

The page appears to be completely blank.The domain pixel.mathtag.com replaces the original domain (www.reddit.com in this example) but leaves the rest of the URL intact as above. So... is there anything I can do to clean this up?
Case two: This morning when I booted up my PC I noticed a strange pop-up that appeared from pixel.mathtag.com.The two separate "windows" stem from my bittorent icon if I hover my cursor over it.My computer is slowing down and has random hick-ups.This isn't the first time I noticed a pop-up appear when I booted up my PC, I remember a different one appeared and I just ignored it... Can someone please help me get rid of it?
Step by step guide: (please perform all the steps in correct order)
Method One: Pixel.mathtag.com manual removal instruction
Step 1: disable any suspicious startup items that are made by Pixel.mathtag.com .
Click Start menu ; click Run; type: msconfig in the Run box; click Ok to open the System Configuration Utility; Disable all possible startup items generated.
Step 2: stop all the processes about Pixel.mathtag.com
Guide: Open task manager by pressing Alt+Ctrl+Del keys at the same time. Another way is to click on the Start button and choose Run option, then type taskmgr into and press OK.
Terminate all the processes of Pixel.mathtag.com
Step 3: show hidden files and folders and delete all the following files.
Guide: click the Start button and choose Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, to find Folder Options then double-click on it. In the pop-up dialog box, click the View tab and uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended).
Delete all the following files:

Delete all the vicious registries as below:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ BrowserSafeguard \ShortcutPath “%AppData%\[RANDOM CHARACTERS]\[RANDOM CHARACTERS].exe” -u HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run “.exe” HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\random HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\run\random HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings “CertificateRevocation” = ’0There may be some other issues such as windows registry errors in your system.
