Files Encrypted by POSHCODER – How to Remove POSHCODER

After the presence of PoshCoder, files in the infected PC may be renamed with end extension as .poshcoder incuding .txt, .doc, .xls to .psd illustrator files.

After that, PoshCoder asks victims to pay $100/100 EUR or similar amount in another currency for files decryption. To further scare computer users PoshCoder virus also sets a limited time.

Many victim are afraid to lost their data and payed the virus. Some of them are lucky and got their files back, while most of the users had lost both the data and money. As there is no guarantee whether the virus will decrypt your files or not after the paying.

To avoid being infected with such kinds of ransomware, you' d better not download free applications from unreliable resources and keep your antivirus software updated to scan your PC in a regular time.
